Cookie Policy

This explains what kammii.ai stores in your browser and why.
The short version: everything here is needed to make the site work. There are no advertising cookies and no third-party analytics cookies on kammii.ai. Nobody is tracking you across other sites from here.
This page is a draft. 30 values marked in red have not been filled in yet, and until they are, this document is not the final text.
1. The three kinds of storage we use
1.1 Cookies. Small values your browser sends back to us on every request. We use them to know that you are signed in.
1.2 Local storage. Values your browser keeps for this site and never sends to us. We use it for your own preferences and, by default, for your gallery and recent prompts.
1.3 A local database, using the browser's IndexedDB. Used for larger local state, such as in-flight generation and agent data that has to survive a page reload.
Local storage and the local database live on your device only. We cannot read them from the server. Clearing your browser data for this site clears them, and they do not follow you to another device.
2. Cookies we set
kammii_main_sessionKeeps you signed in to your Kyrune account
How long 31 days, or until you sign out
anicore_sessionKeeps you signed in to the image generator and the Images area
How long Up to 31 days, or until you sign out
kammii_api_sessionKeeps you signed in to the API area
How long Up to 31 days, or until you sign out
session_tokenKeeps you signed in to the Files area
How long Up to 31 days, or until you sign out
kammii_providerRemembers which sign-in method you last used, so the sign-in page can offer it first
How long Until it expires or you clear it
files_membership_stateA single-use value that protects the Files sign-in handover from being forged
How long Minutes, and deleted once used
2.1 Each area of the site signs its own session value, which is why there is more than one. They all represent the same account and they are all cleared when you sign out of everything.
2.2 All of these are set for the kammii.ai domain only. They are HTTP-only where they hold a session, which means page scripts cannot read them, and they are marked Secure, which means they are only ever sent over HTTPS.
2.3 None of these cookies is used to build a profile of you, and none is shared with an advertiser.
3. Cookies present while the site is behind a password
3.1 While kammii.ai is not yet open to the public it sits behind a password. Two extra cookies exist for that:
kai_gateRecords that the site password was entered correctly
How long Until it expires
kmi_viaRecords which invitation link you arrived by, so the right page is shown
How long Until it expires
3.2 These have nothing to do with your account and they carry no personal data. When the site opens publicly they go away.
4. What we keep in local storage
4.1 Your product preferences: the model you last chose, your generation settings, batch size, size preset, whether a panel was open or collapsed, your appearance and motion preferences, and which warnings you have already seen and dismissed.
4.2 Your recent prompts, so you can reapply one with a click.
4.3 Your gallery, unless you turn on cloud saving. By default the images you generate are stored in your own browser and nowhere else. That is a deliberate choice and it has one consequence you should know about: clearing your browser data deletes them, and they will not be on your other devices. If you want them kept, turn on cloud saving or download them.
4.4 A small amount of agent state, so that a K Agent turn survives a reload or a closed tab.
4.5 Nothing in this section is sent to us or to anyone else.
5. Cookies we do not set
5.1 No advertising cookies.
5.2 No cross-site tracking cookies.
5.3 No third-party analytics cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no session recorder and no heatmap tool on kammii.ai.
5.4 No social media tracking buttons.
5.5 This is why there is no cookie consent banner on kammii.ai. Under the EU and UK rules, storage that is strictly necessary to provide a service the user asked for does not require consent, and everything in sections 2, 3 and 4 is either strictly necessary or a preference you set yourself. If that ever changes we will add a banner and let you choose, and we will update this page first.
6. Third-party requests the pages make
6.1 A few images on our pages are loaded from third-party content networks, for example payment and currency logos. Loading an image from another host lets that host see your IP address and the fact that a page on kammii.ai asked for it. Those hosts do not set cookies through us and we do not send them anything about your account.
6.2 If you sign in with Google or Discord, you are taken to that provider's own pages, where their own cookies and their own privacy policy apply.
6.3 A card payment takes place on our payment processor's pages or in their embedded form. Their cookies apply there and they are necessary to complete the payment. See the Privacy Policy for what we receive back.
6.4 Our hosting and network provider processes the ordinary technical data of every request, including your IP address, in order to deliver the site and protect it from attack. It may set a cookie of its own for security purposes, for example to identify a client it has already screened.
7. Turning things off
7.1 You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can clear this site's local storage there too. Every major browser has a per-site control for it.
7.2 If you block the session cookies you will not be able to stay signed in, and most of Kyrune will not work.
7.3 If you clear local storage you will lose your saved preferences and, unless you turned on cloud saving, your local gallery and prompt history.
7.4 Browsers also offer a "do not track" signal. There is nothing for us to honour, because we do not track you in the first place.
8. Changes
We may update this page. The version here, with the date at the top, is the one in force. If we ever start using storage that requires your consent, we will ask for it before we set it.
