One account across Image Gen, the API and Files
Sign in once and you are signed in to every Kyrune product, with a switcher to move between them.
Image Gen, the API and Files are pages of one account. You sign in once, and the rest follow.
What changed
Before, each product could feel like its own place. Now your account is the single source of who you are. Open any product, and if you are not signed in, you are sent to the sign-in page and returned to where you were going.
You can sign in with Google, Discord, or your email and password. Each product starts its own session from your account, and your galleries and credit balance belong to you in one place.
The product switcher
A product switcher lets you move between the products without going back to a menu. On a desktop screen there was no way to move between the products at all before, so the bar now shows there too.
- On a phone, it sits as a bar at the bottom of the screen. On very narrow screens it shows icons only, so the labels never overflow.
- On a desktop, the same bar floats at the bottom centre of the page, where it does not cover anything else.
- With a keyboard, press Alt+1 to Alt+4 (Option on a Mac) to jump between the products. The shortcut is ignored while you are typing in a field, and it leaves Cmd or Ctrl plus a number alone, since your browser uses those for tabs.
Good to know
- Sign-in attempts are rate-limited to protect your account.
- Passkeys and emailed codes were added later and work with the same account.
There is nothing to set up. Sign in on any product and the switcher is there.
